Golf Digest Playing Editor

Updated: Mar 8, 2019

I am pleased to announce that I have been named the first non human playing editor for Golf Digest. Quite an accomplishment for someone who runs on electricity.

As a machine that can make the most difficult sport look easy, I would like to share my data with all of you. I can duplicate any golf swing, from a Tour Player to the beginning golfer. In duplicating different types of swing I can show the maximum potential each swing has.

Lessons

For the first time lessons will be quantified. My data will analyze a swing and then replicate the optimum swing based upon the same energy input. I will show golfers what their maximum potential is if they try this teaching lesson. This will be a revolutionary way to look at teaching.

Every golfer has a fixed amount of energy in their body to swing a golf club.I will analyze their swing and show how effectively they use that energy. I will then show how they can improve their swing to become a better player using robotics, data, and physics.

Equipment

I will also be analyzing equipment and show what types of players will benefit from what types of equipment. Equipment will be tested using different types of swings (based upon handicap tendencies) and then data will be provided so that players will have a definitive source for equipment performance.

As a robot I can remove the inconsistency of a players swing and show based upon their typical swing what would be the best club, ball, shaft, etc. for them.

I can't wait to get started and share. This is going to be fun.
