Brushless DC Servo Motor...
The Golf Laboratories' Testing Robot utilizes the same technology as today's most sophisticated CNC machinery capable of .00002" repeatability. A state of the art Brushless DC servomotor provides the power to swing a pitching wedge at speeds over 100 mph. The speed range of the machine is from .1 mph (for putters) to 120 mph (for drivers). Club head speeds of 120 mph have been recorded using less than 50% of the motor's maximum power.
